Lifestyle session, young siblings fun

| September 25th, 2010 | No Comments »

Pushing, kissing, ignoring, needing, loving, hiding, hitting and laughing are all natural ingredients of toddlers growing up together. Don’t we all remember those little funny episodes we shared as brothers and sisters and that years down the line inspired a few jokes at family reunions? When captured on camera these moments become great household memories and add up to the make-up of the family.

As parents we know kids grow tooooooooo fast and that’s why every single detail is precious.

The gorgeous family in the pictures is Kendra & Toby and their adorable children: Farley & Lula. With children the motto is “Let the imagination run wild & follow me on the journey! “.

It is always magical when a strong, long lasting relationship is born with my clients. I met Kendra & Toby when I photographed their wedding and since then I had the privilege to photograph every new step of this amazing family. ♥

Something I would recommend when you want to organise a lifestyle session.

With toddler & babies, one of the prime factors in organising a successful session is time management. Naps & feeding time are something to work around if we want to create a positive space to have fun. No one is happy when hungry or tired. So don’t forget to discuss this with the photographer when booking your session. Have fun.

Islington … Lifestyle session

A lifestyle session is a great opportunity and a good excuse to spend time having some fun with your loved ones. A time completely dedicated to you and your core values. Throughout a session you have, indeed, the right and the freedom to relax and enjoy yourself. As a photographer I am with you to participate and bring into focus the intimate and delicious moments of life. I will blend in your motions and emotions to absorb and capture delicate moments that encapsulate genuine feelings of intimacy and deepest love.

A lifestyle session is nothing less than spending a great day out having fun, getting close to the dear ones and be free for a day. A memorable time that will be captured and treasured. To be be kept in a keepsake, an album or to be put on display; these memories will be forever alive. Memory lane is one of my favourite Avenue as it holds very personal sweet fragrances that I share with my loved ones.

Here we have a great little star, Nicolas, a very vibrant little boy full of peps and joy with their family, a great bunch of females with colourful personalities.

Family fun

Kids are growing and evolving at such a pace that it is important to gather memories as their life unfolds. As any parent knows each stage has its unique character. One would like to keep for ever all the little details of youth close to their heart. It’s not only a beautiful record for the parents but for the kids as well. As adults they will treasure these beautiful moments for ever. I have few images with my parents as a child and I keep them dear.

Here we have Imogen who’s 10 with her dad and her dad’s partner on a lifestyle shoot. We started at home and followed up with a couple of locations for some fun in the open air. Imogen was great fun and very pleasant to be with. Thank you Imogen.

One of the best way to keep all the personal traits of a child or a teenager is to collect a series of beautiful photographs at important moments of their life to treasure for years to come. There are many ways and formats you can choose from according to your style and taste: multiframe, coffee table book, contemporary digital album, canvas. The world is your oyster.

Poppy fields forever…

| August 3rd, 2009 | No Comments »

Summer is in bloom in Europe and Tuscany is one of my favourite destination to photograph weddings. Tuscany is a gorgeous backdrop that changes a lot with the seasons. In a span of a few months the landscape transform itself and gives you the chance to be enveloped by overwhelming beauty. It’s the land of the promised sunshine and success for any events or holidays.

Here is an example of a lifestyle shoot in the poppy fields with Daniela and Arwen. May is a fabulous time of year when the fields are lush with flowers and vibrant with colours. I was in Tuscany for a wedding at Podere Finerri, a brilliant venue. This little gem is a best kept secret for any type of events but most definitely for a blissful intimate wedding.

As it was Daniela’s birthday it was the perfect time to take advantage of this exquisite backdrop and create beautiful images to remember and display. We had great fun in the fields and we ended up with great results. This type of lifestyle photograph are best for display in a multiframe or in a contemporary medium size book. A most perfect present.
